Memories Map runs on a Windows computer: open this site on your computer to download it. In the meantime, you can already request your memories in the Snapchat app: preparing them takes from a few hours to a few days.
Install Memories Map
- Open your Downloads folder, right-click Memories-Map-EN.zip, then choose "Extract All".
- Open the folder you get and double-click Memories Map.exe. Nothing is installed in Windows: to remove the software, just delete this folder.
- If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click "More info", then "Run anyway". This warning appears for recent software that hasn't been downloaded much yet.
Get your memories back
- Choose the folder that contains all the ZIP files of your Snapchat export, without unzipping them. Make sure the first part (the "mydata~….zip" file with no number at the end) is there: it contains the places, without which there is no map.
- Choose an empty folder for the result, on a drive with at least as much free space as the size of the ZIP files.
- Click "Find my memories". When it's done, double-click "Memories map.html" to explore your memories on the map.

Check the file (optional)
To make sure your file is the original, open PowerShell in the download folder and type
Get-FileHash .\Memories-Map-EN.zip -Algorithm SHA256. The result must be: c4e2315fe830c50a7bf8cd82b796e00ec415ea937274a61572738cbb17747688
